This
series of compositions began with cropping a Baskerville g to create an interesting
form, 1 composition is black on white and 1 white on black, it then progressed
by creating a series of patterns from the cropping, the first was done using
a grid system, the next 2 are freeform, the last part of the project was to
create a 3 dimensional box covered with the pattern in such a way that the pattern
lines up all the way around and bleeds over the edges, I then placed the box
inside of my first composition creating a final composition. Each of the 6 compositions
are 19 x 19. to view compositions side by side and box scroll
